The fact that people in Malaysia are still living in poverty pisses me off. I watched a video that Elaine has posted on her blog. It's a video of an Indian boy and mother who lives in a small house. The son is asked to build his dream house as an art project. And he builds his own house when his classmates build mansions and things like that. He then gets made fun of for building a small house as his dream house. Maybe his own home IS his dream house? At the end of the video, his mom is begging this guy to not tear their house down because it is their only home. Their only place to live in. As the lady says "do you have another home for me to live in?". Some people are just so selfish. They didn't even give her a notice or something to tell her that they're gonna tear her house down. They should have at least prepared a home for her so she wouldn't be homeless. Honestly, 1Malaysia is nothing. It's not gonna change anyone. There will still be racism and shit like that. I'm just so angered by that video.
